Dear Friends,
From my family to yours, please accept our sincere and best wishes for a HEALTHY, HAPPY, and WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON and a terrific New Year!
2020 has been a very challenging and painful year in so many ways that we will be happy to move forward from, and I wanted to share with you my optimism that 2021 will be better and brighter!
I am honored to serve you as your Mayor during these difficult times, and I will continue to work as hard as I can, within our limited government model, to look after our great Town and everyone who has the privilege of living, visiting, or working in it.
I hope we all have the chance to take some time to unwind a bit and give thanks for the things that matter most and for which we can all feel gratitude. I wish to express my gratitude for all of those who have worked extra hard to serve others during the difficulties of the pandemic – including the Town’s police department, dedicated professional staff, citizen volunteers, our community’s healthcare providers, educators, front-line workers, our faith communities, and so many others who have given and sacrificed to help others.
Some Town news I wanted to share with you while I have your attention:
Free COVID testing:
Many thanks to Maricopa County and our wonderful Town Manager, Jill Keimach, for their hard work together to coordinate FREE COVID TESTING in Paradise Valley! FREE COVID-19 testing will be available at the Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, 4455 E Lincoln Drive, on Saturday December 19th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. https://testing.clinistic.com. A special THANK YOU to PVUMC for hosting this important testing, and to the Franciscan Renewal Center (5802 East Lincoln Drive), which will be the hosting site for free testing on January 9th and 16th.
If you have not done so already, please sign up for AlertPV to receive important alerts like this. Here is the link: https://www.paradisevalleyaz.gov/694/Alert-Paradise-Valley
Thank you for your efforts in remaining vigilant and taking appropriate steps to slow the spread of COVID-19 during this period of elevated transmission!
More news to come in after the New Year.
Finally, on a lighter note, we have a new family member joining our adult dog and two kids soon, a puppy that will give us 16 total legs of rambunctious fun and adventure running around our house!
Wishing you all Health, Peace, Prosperity, & Joy during the Holiday Season and in the New Year!
Respectfully,
Jerry & Robyn Bien-Willner and family
